All six rooms, by closing time

Checked on 10 September 2026. These are the hours each venue publishes, or the ones on its Google listing. Where the sources disagree we say so in the same row instead of picking one.

The practical upshot is one sentence: at five in the morning Cancun has exactly one casino open. By 1 a.m., when the first of the mall rooms shuts, the list is already down to three.

Opening time matters less than you would think

Almost every question about hours here is about closing, and for good reason: four of the six rooms sit inside a shopping mall, and a room inside a mall opens when the mall opens. That means late morning, and it also means the building's hours can change on a public holiday without the casino announcing anything.

The two exceptions are the two downtown rooms on Avenida Tulum. Both stand in their own buildings and depend on nobody else's schedule. That is precisely why one of them can be open when everything else is shut.

Open 24 hours does not mean everything runs 24 hours

This is the important small print. Jubilee is open 24 hours, 365 days a year, and that holds for the slot floor and for the cashier. It does not hold for anything else.

Anyone turning up at nine in the morning hoping for roulette or blackjack will find machines, not a dealer. The tables start at five in the afternoon in every one of the operator's own sources. The full profile is in Jubilee Casino Cancun.

The room with no published hours

Casino Codere Paseo Cancun, in Plaza Paseo, publishes no hours on its listing, on its operator's site, or in any other source we can cite. We do not fill that gap with the mall's hours or with another room from the same chain: a guessed time on a page about opening hours is the worst kind of mistake to make.

Casino By Yak is a different problem with a similar effect: there are two published closing times, Google's and the casino's own, and they do not match. With an hour between the two sources, treat the earlier one as the limit.

If your hotel says it has a 24-hour casino

Two hotels in the whole state have a gaming room inside them, and neither works the way people picture a hotel casino. The Red Casino at the Grand Oasis, at kilometre 16.5 of Boulevard Kukulcán, is advertised by the hotel as open 24 hours, while its Google listing is marked permanently closed; the SEGOB list of authorised venues dated October 2025 still contains the line. We do not choose between those sources.

The other is the Casino del Mar at the Royalton Riviera Cancun, which opened in December 2025, runs from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., is not in Cancun but in Puerto Morelos, and is charged separately from the all-inclusive. If you are staying in a resort and assumed there would be a casino on site, start with no casino in your resort.

Getting out at four in the morning

Closing time decides more than the hour of your last bet: it decides how you get back. At four in the morning public transport is not an option in Cancun, and leaving the downtown rooms is a different proposition from leaving kilometre 12.5 of the Hotel Zone.
