Jubilee Casino Cancun: 24 hours, 3,592 Google reviews and one former name, Dubai Palace

Jubilee is the only casino in Cancun that never closes: machines and cashier run 24 hours, seven days, and the live tables open at 5 p.m. It stands in its own building on Avenida Tulum downtown, not in a mall and not in a hotel, and it holds 4.2 out of 5 on 3,592 Google reviews — more than any other room in the state. If you searched for «Dubai Palace», this is the place: the name changed in September 2024 and the building did not.

Why Google calls it Dubai Palace in English

Search in English and the local pack still labels this place Dubai Palace, with the same 4.2 rating. It is not a different casino and it is not a stale duplicate: it is the same Google record — one place ID, two names in two languages — and the English side simply has not caught up.

140 US searches a month for the old name, 110 for the new one

Dubai Palace CasinoJubilee Casino Cancún

Same building, same operator, same phone number. In September 2024 Logrand Entertainment Group changed the sign and nothing else. The room had opened as Dubai Palace in 2009; the group had launched Jubilee Grand Casino in Mexico City in May 2024 and brought Cancun under the same brand four months later.

Which is why the old name still turns up on your phone. Expedia keeps an unupdated «Dubai Palace Casino» page, Apple Maps and Waze still carry it, and in the United States more people search the dead name than the live one. Nothing has moved.

What is inside

Google's own description calls it a compact venue with slot machines, live gaming tables, home-style Mexican food and a buffet. The venue lists its services as machines, gaming tables, a sports bar, a restaurant, and events. Reviewers add electronic bingo and rail-style multigame machines.

On tables, one thing is worth flagging: search results credit the room with 17 live tables, but that figure has a single source and the operator's own site would not load for us, so treat it as unverified. What multiple reviews do confirm is blackjack, roulette and poker, and that they run from 5 p.m. — at three in the morning on a Tuesday you will find machines, cashier and staff, but no croupier.

The sports bar carries the sharpest complaint on file: one 2026 reviewer writes that you are not let into the area unless you bet a substantial amount. Its hours are also the one thing the sources disagree on — the group's site gives 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, the venue's own Facebook post says 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Call before you plan an afternoon around a game.

The loyalty scheme is The One Rewards, shared across Logrand venues, with its own app and tiers. That is also the only route to anything free here: a Mexican gaming floor has no demo mode and, by law, no credit.

The food is the story, and that is unusual

Sort this room's Spanish reviews by theme and food beats gambling: buffet, dinner, seafood and menu together outweigh the machines. No other venue in the state reads that way. In English the same pattern shows up as «machines» 189 mentions against «buffet» 154, with a seafood buffet, live music and the on-site money exchange behind them.

The restaurant is Ruby's, open seven days. Published prices: the Friday and Saturday dinner buffet, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., is 215 pesos per person — about 13 dollars — and the Sunday breakfast, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is 205 pesos, about 12. You will see 199 pesos quoted in older reviews; that was a 2023 price. Reviewers describe a salad bar refreshed daily before 5 p.m., a different speciality each day, free soda and coffee machines, and à la carte nachos, hot dogs and club sandwiches. The buffet is open to non-members.

Getting there, and what is around it

The casino sits on the main downtown avenue, which makes it the easiest room in the city to reach and the easiest to leave. Distances below are straight-line, from Google's coordinates; walking or driving adds 20 to 40 per cent.

From Jubilee toDistanceWhat it is

From a Hotel Zone hotel it is about 10 km (6 mi). The R-1 bus runs the length of Avenida Tulum and out along Kukulcán Boulevard for roughly 10 pesos in town and 12 in the Hotel Zone — about 59 to 71 US cents — but it stops around 10:30 p.m., which in a 24-hour casino is the detail that decides your night. Taxis have no meters: fares go by zone and are agreed before you get in, with published «from» prices of 200 pesos (about $12) downtown-bound and 450 (about $27) back out to the Hotel Zone. Uber and DiDi work normally downtown at roughly 100 to 150 pesos for the same run.

If the trip is specifically for the casino, sleeping next door costs less than two taxi rides: within 500 metres there are five hotels with Google listings — ibis Cancún Centro at 210 m (690 ft), City Express by Marriott at 196 m, Fiesta Inn Las Américas at 487 m — plus a Walmart Express at 175 m and several bank ATMs. The rest of the neighbourhood is covered in the Cancun overview.

Money, ID and the one thing to know before the cage

Play here runs on a house card you load with cash at the cashier, and the queue at that cashier is the single most common money complaint in the reviews. Bring pesos: by law all betting operations are in national currency, and the venue's on-site exchange desk — mentioned 14 times in English reviews — publishes no rate.

On documents, we will not invent a rule. Jubilee publishes no ID requirement and no review mentions one, unlike Palace Bingo, which states in writing that foreigners need a passport. Entry is free and over-18s only. Carry your passport anyway: above roughly 38,126 pesos the anti-money-laundering rules oblige any venue to identify you formally, and a visitor has no Mexican ID card to offer.

Dress code is the one place where the source is old: management answered a review with «smart casual», ruling out sportswear such as sleeveless shirts and swimsuits — in 2015. Nothing more recent has been published by the venue.

The same group, online

Logrand also holds a licensed online arm. The site jubilee.mx appears as line 4 of the federal register of authorised gaming pages, status «operando», and its Android app is published by the same company named in that register — an independent confirmation of the link, not a claim from a marketing page. A sister site in the same family, Strendus, is where the demo mode actually works: game pages open in free mode without registering, which is something no gaming floor in the state can offer at any hour.

Two practical differences for a visitor. Deposits can be made at this room's own cage, and withdrawals go by bank transfer — the group publishes a maximum of 48 business hours, the only such figure any Mexican operator states — but they require a Mexican CLABE account, which a tourist does not have. The room, the site and the regulator are the same three parties; only the cashier is different.

Frequently asked questions

Is Jubilee Casino really open 24 hours?

The machines and the cashier are, seven days a week — the venue's own reply to a review says «24 hrs. del día, los 365 días del año», and Google shows the same. The live tables are not: they run from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m., or 5 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Is Jubilee the same place as Dubai Palace Casino Cancun?

Yes. Logrand rebranded the room in September 2024; the address, the phone number and the Google listing with its 3,592 reviews all stayed the same. Google still shows «Dubai Palace» in its English interface, and TripAdvisor serves both names from one listing.

Is there a dress code at Jubilee Casino Cancun?

The only published answer is a management reply calling it «smart casual» and ruling out sportswear such as sleeveless shirts and swimsuits — but that reply dates from 2015 and the venue has said nothing since.

How much is the buffet at Jubilee Casino?

Ruby's dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., is 215 pesos per person, roughly 13 dollars; Sunday breakfast, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is 205 pesos. The 199-peso figure in older reviews is a 2023 price.

How do I get from the Hotel Zone to Jubilee Casino?

About 10 km (6 mi). The R-1 bus runs down Avenida Tulum for roughly 12 pesos but stops around 10:30 p.m.; after that it is a taxi with no meter, quoted by zone before you get in, or an app car.
