Casino Broadway: the smallest room in Cancun

Where it is

The address the Google listing publishes is Plaza Outlet, Avenida Andrés Quintana Roo, L1-Loc SA01, 77507: lot 1, unit SA-01, inside the Las Plazas Outlet mall, in supermanzana 39. It is not a leftover from an old directory — the mall's own tenant list includes "CASINO BROADWAY", the only gaming venue on it.

One warning before you drive out: Google holds two mall listings on the same avenue, "Las Plazas Outlet" at number 39 and "Centro Comercial Outlet" at number 85, and we could not establish whether that is two buildings or one mall split across two records. The name that gets you there is Las Plazas Outlet. From Jubilee, downtown, it is 2.6 km (1.6 miles) west.

The casino closes three hours after the mall

This is the most practical fact on the page and no other source about Cancun states it. The outlet trades 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the room, 10 a.m. to midnight, 365 days a year, per the text the venue put on its own listing: it opens an hour before the mall and closes three hours after it.

Eleven reviews, and what they actually say

Eleven opinions is few enough that the average moves with each one: in July 2026 the same listing read 3.2 from ten reviews and today it reads 3.4 from eleven. Date any number you read about this place. The topics Google extracts are three — machines (five mentions), coffee (two), price (two). Nothing about tables, bingo or food, because nobody mentions them.

They need to renew their machines, they have had the same ones for years.

Two-star Google review, 26 June 2026

The one thing regulars do praise is domestic and specific: free coffee and water while you play. In a city where the bigger rooms charge for everything at the bar, that small courtesy is what the Broadway's customers single out. Another review, three stars, describes the atmosphere as feeling "sort of underground" — which is a fair description of a small room at the back of an outlet mall.

What is verifiable is short: this is a slot room. No review mentions live tables, a dealer or called bingo. One directory mentions electronic roulette, but its page would not open for verification, and a single unverified source is not enough to state it as fact.

There is another casino 200 metres away

Casino Codere Paseo sits 0.2 km — about three minutes on foot — from the Broadway, on the same avenue. That closeness produces a confusion the directories keep repeating: several reviews place the Codere room "inside Plaza Outlet", while its coordinates point to Plaza Paseo and the outlet's own tenant list contains only the Broadway.

Three other Broadways that are not this one

A real Casino Broadway operates in Monterrey, and it is the one that misleads people searching from another city: they see a busy listing where the Cancun room has eleven opinions. There is also a Broadway chain in Colombia and a Broadway 80 owned by Cirsa in Spain. None of the three has a proven connection to this room.

Who owns it: the part that is not settled

There is no clean answer, and we would rather say so than pick the convenient version. The Google listing declares no operator. A review from 20 June 2023 says only that the place "has just changed owners". And the list of permitted establishments published by Mexico's Interior Ministry in October 2025 contains a line reading "Casino Codere Broadway Cancún", which would point at the chain across the parking lot. We keep it filed as independent because ownership is not confirmed by two sources that agree.

Before you go in

• The minimum age is 18, not 21: Mexico's age of majority is 18 and the federal regulation bars minors from betting areas. See ID and age.
• You play in pesos: article 10 of the federal regulation requires bets in national currency, so no Mexican casino can take your dollars even if your hotel does.
• The room publishes no ID rule, but other Cancun venues ask for a document to issue the house card. Bring your passport.
• Taxis here have no meter: agree the fare in pesos first — see taxi prices.

One thing is the same in every physical room: these machines have no trial mode, so you cannot watch how a game pays before you put money in. That option exists only online, on sites holding a permit from Mexico's gaming authority — what is verified about them is in playing online from Cancun.
